Bicimax reveals official KMC distribution
The national company announces the official distribution of the renowned KMC chain brand

KMC is a brand known for its high quality and durable chains. Cutting-edge and exclusive technology such as Diamond Like Coating (DLC) or Double X Bridge Shape makes this Taiwanese brand one of the most respected.
DLC

The main feature of the DLC coating is the extraordinary hardness of the surface and the consequent reduction in abrasive wear. The characteristics of the top-of-the-range series: an exceptional service life, the best shifting characteristics and a consistently pleasing appearance of the 10 to 12-speed DLC chains.
EcoPtoTeQ

KMC's non-toxic and environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ EPT technology protects chains against corrosion (only after 650 hours of salt fog testing do the first traces of rust develop) for twice as long as conventional rust protection, thus setting new standards. Each component of each chain link is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that offers the least possible attack from water, salt and moisture in the air.
Another feature of EPT: The very smooth surface gives the chains excellent running qualities. The accumulation of dirt is minimized in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly eased.
DLC Series

The DLC series chains, with a titanium-carbon nitride coating, have a very resistant surface and, as a result, less friction. Available in 10, 11 and 12-speed options, the SL version is available for 10 and 11 speeds, as well as chains compatible with 12-speed electric bikes.
X Series

KMC's X series has been developed with the peculiarities of Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo systems in mind to meet the most demanding needs. It offers impeccable shifting performance and a smooth, quiet transmission thanks to the Double X Bridge finish on the plates. They are available for 8 to 12-speed transmissions.
X-Series SL

With all the outstanding features of the X series united in the SL variant with a focus on weight reduction. The inner and outer plates have grooves and hollow pins to reduce the weight of the chain as much as possible without compromising its smoothness and durability. They are available in various colors for 9 to 11 speed transmissions.
X-Series EL

The efficiency of the X Series combined with lighter parts. Inner and outer panels with grooves, without compromising smoothness and strength. They are available in several color options for 10 and 11-speed transmissions.
Z-Series

The Z Series are entry-level to mid-range chains, available in different colors and for different transmission systems and speeds.
KMC's offer covers both electric and conventional bikes, of course, and we can also count on other transmission components: cassettes, plates, pulleys, etc.
