[News] Crankbrothers launch new Mallet and Stamp Trail BOA shoes
The Californian brand has just launched two shoes to its portfolio, with or without fittings.
Crankbrothers has added two new shoes to its range, the Mallet Trail Boa and the Stamp Trail Boa. As the name suggests, at least if you're familiar with Crankbrothers' pedal line, the Mallet is for use with clipless pedals, and the Stamp is the apartment pedal version. Both shoes use the Boa system and a hook-and-loop strap to tighten everything up, with a handy pull tab on the heel to help put them on.
The sole has more aggressive lugs than the current Mallet or Stamp Boa, and the height of the upper is a little higher, with an elastic cuff around the ankle to prevent debris from entering the trails. In addition, the tongue material is a little thinner, which should help the shoes dry out more quickly after a soaking wet ride.
