Pirelli renews its Scorpion Enduro and e-MTB range

Although we're only a few days away from Eurobike, we've been releasing some of the news that will be presented at the German event as a national exclusive. In the case of Pirelli, the main novelties are within the Scorpion range.

For those who don't know, the Scorpion Enduro and E-MTB range currently includes three different concepts: S (soft terrain), R (specific for the rear tire) and M (for mixed terrain).

The M compound has been completely modified and extends its spectrum of use thanks to its differentiated lugs and its new profile, which is now more aggressive but extremely versatile.

The new Scorpion Enduro M and Scorpion E-MTB M tires can be considered versatile or multi-purpose and are aimed at all those who are used to long days of mountain biking, but who don't neglect the occasional race.

Proof of this versatility is the adoption of the new SmartGRIP Gravity compound developed by the brand's engineers as a result of their experience in motocross and rallying. The compound guarantees grip, smoothness and resistance, but the stiffness values are lower than the previous version, in order to allow the tire to mold to the terrain, reducing vibrations and increasing grip as well as comfort in the most extreme conditions.

But there are more updates to Pirelli's range of mountain bike tires at the base level. Currently, the Scorpion Enduro range is available not only in the HardWALL version, but also in the (lighter and more comfortable) ProWALL.

These tires will hit the market at the end of July or the beginning of August. We'll also be hearing more news at Eurobike, as the brand is working with Fabien Barel on a new range. Stay tuned to our website for more information.
